Two years ago on Halloween, my then-partner and I adopted Sitri--a smol demon prince with tummy troubles and big affection; A burrower of blankets and usurper of laps. Sitri stayed with her pops after I moved out (she loves his lap the most), but I still come over to cat-sit and play with her pretty often!

I drew this minicomic based on a dream I had when visiting Sitri one night. It also happened to be during Jupiter's closest approach to Earth in 59 years--a historical event that overcast weather completely blocked me from beholding. Cloudblocked?
Anyways, while this comic is hardly an ambitious endeavor, finishing it and printing it to share with others holds a lot of emotional significance for me. This is the first comic I have completed from scratch in a very long time. The process of which also made me remember the JOY of making comics, something I wasn't sure I'd be able to feel again. In caring for Sitri and just spending time with her--wonderful mundane time--I found nourishment for my creative wellspring.
This dream comes plainly and honestly from my heart.
