doing a little bit of pixel art for fun!! i haven't tried pixel art in like a decade, but i made a fun lil neocities page last week and i've been really loving all the cool pixel art people have on their own pages.

it's also been really fun just to, like... code a little home for myself on the internet? i've always really enjoyed coding (it's one of the reasons i like cohost as a platform, too!) but i missed out on the age of everyone having their own personal geocities page by a couple of years. with social media being generally the way that it is right now, i'm really hoping that style of internet presence makes a comeback, tbh. i love the idea of a less centralized internet where you can find people by falling down rabbit holes of links from site to site, and i feel like making a website like that encourages being really unabashedly passionate about your interests, which is something i've struggled with on "real" social media for fear of being "cringe" or whatever.

anyways! go make a website! be free! cringe culture and social media are both dead! etc!
