i genuinely believe undertale literally changed how my brain works on a developmental level when it came out when i was 12 (in a good way, ultimately)
despite everything, on some level, i’m still a kid with a bleeding heart who believes with 100% earnesty that a better world is possible, one built on the foundations of love and kindness, and that the only reason that seems so unfathomable sometimes is we get so lost in the darkness of the world, as it is, that we lose sight of the things that can be. if that’s childish or naive then i don’t want to grow up
