honestly im so mad. i have had like 4 opportunities to get into persona over the past like 10 years and only NOW has my curiosity gotten too much to bear and now (edif: literally in may when i wrote this draft) it has me in a vice grip
said opportunities:
- seeing persona 3 and 4 on tvtropes and thinking they looked cool
- seeing persona q in gamestop when i was 11 but deciding to buy something else for my 3ds
- oh neat persona 5 just came out and everyone’s talking about it, i really want to check it out but it’s pretty expensive and my “friends” are going to bully me for playing an anime game if they see me playing it on ps4 friends so
- oh hey gamestop is selling persona 5 royal for ps4, lemme just snag that cuz i’ve always been curious (has probably not even touched her ps4 for some time)
- hmm people in this discord server are talking about persona 4 and it looks cool. but im afraid people will look down on me for playing it because persona is Problematic
- i need more rpg enrichment other than deltarune. itd be good to see more “traditional” entries in the genre… hhhhh persona 3 reload just came out a few months ago and holy shit holy shit it looks amazing hhghhhghHNNGGH
