sure the graphics are dated. the gameplay is ehh… flawed. the english voice acting and translation aren’t great. the story has a few holes and issues with its presentation. the music could do with some rerecording with modern equipment.

but i love this god damn video game so fuckin much its unbelievable

its heart and soul are absolutely fucking radiant, shining through the problems, and they’ve captivated me for as long as i can remember. i don’t even know how to begin to explain how much sonic adventure 2 means to me, i love absolutely everything it’s doing and if they ever do someday remake it and do it justice and make that soul shine as bright as it possibly can i will die happy
