talk to the mods and if the mods dont reply leave and find a better community are unfortunately the only ways if its super centralized, like a discord or facebook group or whatever. if its more like tumblr-style, blocks and any other tools you get are the second line of defense.
nodsnods yeah, that’d help a lot more than just taking it. fortunately this made me realize i could very easily just ignore it and do the former for the specific thing that made me think about this (unmoderated youtube comment cesspools), but it’s good to be reminded that i always have options in more serious situations
and if its on your youtube channel delete and ban their asses after reporting
oh 10000% i Absolutely intend to wield my power with an iron goddamn fist there. on there, i can do infinitely better than what actual youtube moderation does lmao (ie jack shit apart from their fickle automod shadow-deleting any comments it doesn’t like when you post them)
