i hope when i get to making my own games one day iโ€™m good enough at coding/design for most normal users to never (realize they) run into glitches, but just bad enough for my game to be absolutely brought to its knees by speedrunners in weird ways i never wouldโ€™ve dreamed of without me even having to try

Hell, Sonic Team deciding to embrace a physics exploit used by speedrunners and giving it an official name as a feature (iirc it's the homing dash) was not only kind of funny but like YES THEY GET IT!
Physics exploits and non intrusive glitches I feel are fun and generally good for any game's longevity.
