i’m ngl i cannot think of a single video game tutorial more intensely hype than splatoon’s and i think it’s entirely down to the music + the fact that it’s framed as you getting closer and closer to the main hub world city that you’re going to be spending a lot of time in. Like. i have literally never heard a more exciting tutorial song in my fucking life. the way it builds up as you presumably learn more and more of the basic mechanics and get closer and closer to the city GOD
