Ah no worries! Sword Logic was basically a philosophy dreamed up by the keeper of the Black Garden. It was basically power through strength, but not necessarily physical.

It was in opposition to The Traveler's philosophy of perfection through cooperation. Basically to find The Perfect Shape you first had to justify why you were even alive, what is your right to exist. If you're strong enough, you will simply make something so through the power of your own will and however it manifests. For Oryx he's a combatant. Savathun is cunning.

The Hive is a faction that was more or less tricked into following this. Kind of like the Necrons they were a short lived race when they were in their original forms. But the three who became their leaders took the deal to get the power to save their people and taking on the worm that gives them this power is also what's killing them.

Oryx can't just be a good general, he has to be the best. And better and better and better. If he doesn't the worm will consume him. Same with Savathun, if she isn't able to top her schemes it'll consume her.

Most of this would be analogus to Warp Bullshit and Chaos God's but the act of changing the universe through your own understanding and will is kind of at the heart of Sword Logic

the c'tan, from whom the necrons derive their power, are literal gods of the material plane, as opposed to gods of the warp. harnessing even a fraction of this power is what lets them do what amounts to literal magic, as they bend reality itself, instead of forcing reality to bend to the whims of the immaterium.
