Someone decided that every software engineer/agile coach/product manager in my current workplace should have an AWS Cloud Practitioner certification. Initially I found it a bit silly since I have been working with AWS and Cloud technologies a bit over 6 years. But since I didn't have to pay anything, I had a rethink and said to myself. Why not.
So I went took the test and PASS.
I honestly thought I would feel a little bit more excited. It didn't even feel like a burden was lifted. It was as pointless as I thought it would be.
But I had an exciting day. I had 2 train cancellations, and a major delay. Took me over 3 hours to go to the exam centre. Possibly due to the strikes, which I don't mind because I totally understand the reason behind them.
I finally arrived at the last minute in the exam centre and the lady there allowed me to take the exams, even if I was slightly late.
I had a nice walk afterwards and I bought a hat.
