if you know anything at all about Wilderfeast you've probably heard that it's a combo of Dungeon Meshi and Monster Hunter. this is correct, it rocks.
The system really reminds me of JTRPGs like Princess Wing and Floria: The Verdant Way, specifically in the way those games are split into distinct phases with their own subsystems (for Wilderfeast, these phases are tracking a monster, fighting a monster, and eating the monster). but, where those games are built around single-session experiences, Wilderfeast aims for a longer campaign structure, and your character grows in direct response to the monsters they've eaten. EXTREMELY cool tech, the world leaves its mark on your character at least as much as your character leaves their mark on the world, and it all ties into what the game has to say about the cycle of nature and our place within it
