Realising I've asked basically no D&I questions in this round of interviews. But everyone knows the Right Answers now, there's no point in asking. You can't expect much much better than Hire More Women Guards politics.

If you want justice, you gotta get it yourself.

Even that doesn't always work, since often the only other minoritized person was just hired in the past 3 months since the company only just started thinking about inclusion, and they're at a point when everything still seems okay to them :/

Asking about what their concrete goals for diversity are, which groups they're collecting metrics on, and what they're doing or planning on doing to achieve these goals could collect some information? Unless they're willing to outright lie to you, it's hard to just repeat "right answers" there; they actually have to have a plan.
