why this

#went to replace a burnt out bulb in this place for the first time and #this #for some reason #the bulbs are the same size as Edison sockets and appear to still be AC #so who knows!#I guess it'll be dark in here tonight

god I hate these fucking things, I have zero idea why people building houses after the introduction of CFLs decided to switch from Edison sockets to GU24

maybe just a wider base to put the ballast electronics in? idk
