The cool thing about engineering is that you can have a very faultless culture. Everything that goes wrong is the result of multiple complex systems of both people and machines, interacting in unexpected ways. No single person is to blame for any one mistake, just like no one person can build an entire city.

The one major exception to this is that when I personally mess up, everything actually is my fault and I'm a terrible person who should know better.
