Still trying to figure out something completely baffling that happened at work just now. Lady came in with a 2011 Honda CR-V complaining she wasn't getting any power after we did an oil change on it. Everything we could have possibly touched was fine.
There was no fluid in the transmission when I pulled the dipstick. None at all.
I went over it with a fine tooth comb, doing everything I'm allowed to do at my job. I could find no evidence of a leak or tampering or anything. It's one of those ones where I wish I was a full mechanic because I would give anything to know what the hell was going on. I'm guessing that it had been empty for a while, and it's just catching up with her now, which is totally bizarre. I referred her to finding a dealer or professional transmission shop, because not only was there basically nothing I could do besides putting a little bit of transmission fluid in it, but there is clearly something way way more serious going on.
Someone drank all the transmission fluid with a silly straw during the last oil change
