so before i came out, i liked to wear a lot of tight clothes. they made me feel more femme in a subtle way that i could write off as just being a more effeminate guy, and i also just liked how they looked on my body. so 95% of my "basics" wardrobe is tight tshirts and tight jeans, with my looser stuff being cardigans and hoodies and such.

fast forward to now. i'm 4 months deep on hrt and my boobs are noticeably bigger. i seem to have (in the last week or so) crossed the threshold from "a sports bra is enough to fake that i don't have boobs" to "i noticeably have boobs when i wear a tight shirt, sports bra or not". fantastic! hot! incredible! but whether it's for "do not perceive me" reasons or genderfluidity reasons, sometimes i don't want boobs! how do i resolve this!

well, i just tried a big, comfy, loose tshirt for the first time since i was a teenager. it's incredible. how did i not like these before?? it's exactly what i wanted: the material is loose enough to suggest whatever shape you like underneath depending on what else you're wearing, and it's cropped a little bit so i still feel cute and femme when i wear it. bonus, the neckline is big enough that it shows my bra straps underneath if i wear it asymmetrically, and gives it a sort of faux off-shoulder look that i really like.

loose tshirts!! i will immediately buy 20 of them.
