Anyway I'm excited for spring because there's DUCKLINGS and they're BABY and TINY, and they can't take the stairs, which is very adorable to watch even if it's stressful for the entire duck family
(I did help them up after about 10 minutes of distressed quacking and chirping, when it was obvious there would be no more progress and Mom would absolutely not go back the other way)
(Mom very patiently waited for me to be done before hissing at me, which I imagine means "thank you, now go away forever please")
