She's named after the Bitsy game engine (https://www.bitsy.org/, @bitsy) by Adam Ledoux (@ldx), which happens to have a cat as its mascot!However, please note: the Bitsy game engine cat mascot is not the same as the cat pictured here, who is also named Bitsy. For one, Bitsy the cat is not old enough to run the @bitsy Cohost account. she is not even one year old.
