(for the viewers just tuning in this is an Environmental Studies class that had guidelines for how to cite AI on the syllabus and as part of the midterm asked us to prompt an LLM with something and then respond to it. I, of course didn't do that and explained why, fully ready to eat the L. Shockingly, professor didn't dock any points, met with me, was super open about learning more, changing his mind and generally really cool about the whole thing)
