my lease ends June 30th
i have to let my landlord know if i am renewing or not by May 31st
i still do not have a job
the lease is year-long
there are no month-to-month leases in this town, and there are no jobs in this town. i will almost certainly have to move when i find a job unless i miraculously find a remote job.
renewing my lease would be a terrible idea. there is nowhere i can rent without an income. i can't commit to anywhere until i know where i'm going to be living for work anyways.
this is actually the worst conceivable situation for me i think. i do not know what to do. other than keep applying to jobs but it's been 8 months with no luck.

i think all i need is someone willing to let me stay with them until i can find a job. or a job. a job would also be great. a job would be far better actually.
