RHETORIC [Heroic: Failure] — Alright, here we go. We're devoting all your available brain cells to coming up with a question about communism. Scratch that, to coming up with *the* question about communism, the alpha and omega of communism questions, and that question is:

1. - (Whisper.) "Is food bourgeois?"
2. - Oh god, that's bad. Surely I can think of something better.

Serious answer: honestly, home cooking and restaurants of some sort will probably continue to exist regardless of economic system.

yeah my first thought was getting a bunch of people together to cook one meal for everybody, but that requires someone with a decently big kitchen. i think your idea addresses that

except we can't eat together communally anymore because covid so it doesn't work anymore unless i guess it's a weird subverted potluck where everyone enters the potluck zone to grab their food and then, idk, walk home with it? or eat outside if the weather is good

Since this is all a hypothetical anyway, I'm imagining a public space with good ventilation. That could be somewhere outdoors when not in the bitter cold, or it could be somewhere with a very good hvac system. Either way, I don't think it's worth getting caught up on edge cases that can be worked around

metathesis: ordering takeout at a fancy restaurant in order to incorporate it into your wagyu wellington udon
syncretism: doing the above with the cheap corner deli to make packet ramen sustainable
