Once DigiKey/Mouser/etc run out, things will get shady fast. eBay sellers are notorious for peddling bootleg ICs (I've been burned by a bootleg 68000 and 6809 in the past). B2B sellers are very hard to work with and somewhat untrustworthy (I've been lied to my face by them about product availability, and someone I know got scammed to the tune of a few thousand dollars by one of them). Surplus resellers only have so much stock to sell, if they don't keep closing up shop. And I have a bad feeling that goddamned lich known as Rochester Electronics is going to scoop up the old Z80 stuff to produce them at 20 times the cost and with absurd minimum order requirements, like they did with the 68K family.

Also, this means that the 6502 has outlived all the old CPUs. What the hell. Insert edit of that Regular Show meme here.
