Cellz and FM Aid (which were cheap used) finally arrived
I will definitely have to reorder these, but the Cellz' incredibly short power cable and the Disting's depth unfortunately limit my options a bit

Went through the Eurorack tag and saw that you also started with the Mavis and the Dystopia, which were my first two as well! Did you also feel that the mavis, good as it, was in some dire need of distortion and randomness?
Listened to some of your tracks as well, really liked "dansheim"
Thank you!! Yeah, the Dystopia's bitcrusher was the main draw for me - especially when I had space in the rack for the Volca Sample - but I've come to love patching the sample-and-hold noise into CV inputs :)
e: It pairs especially well with the Mavis' attenuator if you just want to add a little touch of stepped noise to a filter or an effect
Cool! I was interested in the Volca Sample but have't used my other volcas as much as much lately, so I'm waiting for a good deal. Do you control your things via a separate sequencer or daw or do you do it on the Sample itself? I see something that looks like a usbmidi in
The Sample is my favorite of the Volcas! Hopefully you can get a good deal on the original now that there's a new revision - I would really recommend the V1, since it lets you set up Pajen's firmware which gives you proper chromatic pitch over the onboard MIDI, instead of having to manually dial it in as a CC parameter(???)
When I had it set up, I mostly used it for drum loops which I programmed on the Sample itself - unfortunately it doesn't have any way to control anything over CV (except the sync) and it does take up a bit of space, so for now it's out of the rack.
