incidental music is a huge part of my enjoyment of anime, and this is some of the best.
some additional random facts: this soundtrack is by takashi ohmama, who also worked on the PSO2 anime soundtracks (The Animation/Episode Oracle) and... the Diamond is Unbreakable live-action soundtrack, which I forgot was a thing. and the opening to the first season is by YOASOBI, which i didn't take note of at the time because it was before they lit up the charts with "idol".
