Today is the 27th anniversary of the first organized protest against invasive, humiliating, and completely unnecessary procedures on children and infants born with indeterminate sex characteristics.
While this has been ruled as an illegal practice by the UN, it is still regularly performed on perfectly healthy individuals with the full consent of their parents.
I understand I'm preaching to the choir here, but educating new and soon-to-be parents is key to ending this. Let them know its natural, normal, and unless there's a valid clinical concern completely harmless.
Their child will thank them.
