i'm just not finding the energy this year to do a bunch of programming on top of my job! oh well, maybe i'll just take my own advice and not beat myself up if i'm not having fun this time around

Kinda in the same boat after day 12. AoC is fun, but after a while the complex dynamic programming stuff gets exhausting to think about.
The same thing happened to me last year with day 16, actually. Been meaning to go back and try to finish some of the ones I skipped, but the later ones hurt my brain too much.
last year i managed until around day 22 but i never finished 16 part 2. this year im dealing with brain fog in the mix and just don't know if i'll actually be happier spending my work day and also all my free time thinking hard about computers
