Incredibly funny to me that Valve's DotA2 christmas event giftboxes are giving out bans for toxic behaviour. Literally held off on banning people just to put them on a naughty list for christmas
okay sometimes even big companies can demonstrate that at least some of the people there have souls/senses of humor cause this is hilarious

far as i'm aware (i'm no dota-er or general competitive gamer, this is secondhand) smurfing is when you play on an alternative account so you can play against much lower tiered players in the rankings, or otherwise intentionally tank your rank so you can play against the lower tiered players
