here's the work i can think of that needs to be done, roughly in the order they need to be done:
commuter bike
- brake bleed
- check brake pads for wear, replace if needed
- leather treatment on saddle
- tighten up all the bolts
- thorough cleaning
- clean brake discs
- check wheel alignment
bikepacking bike
- check derailleur hangar alignment
- adjust derailleur
- check brake pads for wear, replace if needed
- leather treatment on saddle
- tighten up all the bolts
- clean tires and reapply sealant (waiting until the weather's nice so i can do it outside)
- rewrap handlebar
- thorough cleaning
- clean brake discs
- check wheel alignment
- apply frame tape
- add a bag bar up front
- try adding all the bags for some test loaded rides
i haven't done... most of these before, should be fun. i think this weekend will be just fiddling with the derailleur on the fargo, it's kind of the most intimidating task
