here's an alternative perspective since i'm waking up to a (really very small) amount of meta discourse about dragons dogma 2 discourse.
all i've seen about dragons dogma 2 is thoughtful writing that i enjoyed reading. no call outs of anyone specific, no personal attacks, and not even a lot of disagreement. i'm not even too invested in the game and i was glad to read the posts.
sure, some of the discussion is also about people who are mad on twitter, but like, do you have to post all your thoughts about the yelling machine back into the yelling machine? i think it's nice that you can come to the "fourth website" to post your thoughts and get a different timbre of response. discourse is just talkin about stuff, that's what people do on social media
anyway yes a specific post triggered these thoughts but i'm not linking to it / tagging this because i'm not really trying to raise the volume, just thinking out loud
