ive been playing games with my bro weekly/biweekly offline and it has been a mental refresher (and then hanging w/ friends offline doing art instead of doing stream days on free time)

i do like streaming but like.... being able to do stuff offline without a constant stream of questions/words scrolling on screen is great

On my free time when I watch other people's streams I am really starting to hate seeing a live scrolling chat alongside the content. It makes me just absolutely tired bc its emulating what I experience when I (am) live and am trying to get away from. It's a weird feeling and maybe is a side effect of crunching a lot of time into stream this weekend.

With that being said tho I'm thinking of removing the chat displaying on stream for a bit. I wonder if others get the same feeling when watching and don't want ppl going through that if they are looking for a place to chill

working on a better brain to not like... make every moment of my life "CONTENT!!"

in reply to @stupah's post:

i think the only reason i do it is because i verifiably have people who watch VODs and having the chat on screen helps them know what the convo is? like i already remove the music from the streams so idk what else they'd be tuning in for if it wasn't being able to keep up with that

but i 100% understand where you're coming from. its why ive been pretty hesistant to get back into games streaming every week. i want to! but also it's been really nice to just, have that be For Me and enjoy things that way

Ohhh yea that absolutely makes sense , I hadn't thought about vod gang (I know when you highlight stuff it does not get preserved in the long run too :(( ). I wanna find an alternative for myself and if it's just less blocks on messages on stream I'll be happier at least

Glad you've been able to enjoy games off-stream without stress TuT ( and thank you for suffering through drakengard 3 so I didn't have to, that playthrough was really fun )
