@styx-os has asks off and none of the current posts seemed like the right place to comment, so it goes here: reading through all the stuff here, I found no mention of nix being integral and I was actively wondering the whole time (hoping the rhyme was significant, lol). It IS in the website intro (yay!) but that was the very last thing I got to. 😆 Some mention here would be nice, because it's the only question I had to leave Cohost for!

Well, Nix isn't exactly integral; it's a function used in the building of styx's packages for distribution. The end-user doesn't have a need to work with nix, and we don't use nixpkgs in the installed OS.

Also, I have asks off right now on @styx-os while we're getting things together overall but I might turn them on, seeing as there's demand for it.
