golden delicious
breaking the streak of red apples today with a yellow one. the skin has a pretty matte finish to it. easy to cut and bite into.
not a huge amount of flavor but theres enough tartness to be tasty. cant compare to my love of the humble yellow opal but definitely a good apple.
Genuinely been enjoying the apple ratings, I don’t know all the kinds you’ve had but it’s been interesting to compare what I do or don’t like about different varieties compared to your tastes. Actually I was going to say, the honeycrisp I recall being really quite sweet so maybe you got a weird one there? Deffo encourage you to try it again sometime. :3
