does bottom surgery leave any like. identifiable scarring around the pussy that could be depicted recognizably in art? from my attempts to research it a lot of surgeons seem to say they try for there not to be but it is hard for me to look into bc medical pics make me light headed.

i appreciate the responses to this a lot! thank you very much. whenever i draw a girl with a pussy im just gonna specify in the caption that she's trans i think and not rely on any scars i might draw as an indicator of that.

don't think so, i've heard obgyns say they can't tell the difference if they're not carefully checking if a pussy is oem or third party. not 100% sure tho, haven't done a ton of research on this for similar reasons

most of the surgery results have been for penile-preserving vaginoplasty because that's the kind i'm planning on getting? but from what i have seen of those, the most common scarring is 'from wherever on your body a skin graft gets taken from' (in the case of my surgeon, that'd be a horizontal scar below the belly button); i have Heard that there are apparently faint scars that can form around the pussy itself but from what i have been led to believe they are by and large not at all noticeable

for me, early on there were definitely noticeable scars from the top of the outer labia leading maybe three inches up the mons, curving gently outwards. over time these have faded into smoother, slightly darker patches of skin. they're pretty much hidden by my pubic hair, but if I were clean shaven you could probably see them if you knew what you were looking for

when i got mine my surgeon told me that if they ended it needing extra skin they would take it from my belly and give me a fake c-section scar, i kinda wish they had it sounded rad as hell
