It probably wasn't a priority, but I fixed up the base for my old robot arm. Reinforced some welds, cut some panels, some better wheels and painted it up. So now I can move the arm around without leaving a trail of rust. It also means if I get the opportunity to work on it if I have the time.

It has no controller currently, but it uses DC servo motors not steppers, so I should be able to run it with simple H-bridges and an arduino.

The motor brakes are currently stuck. I think the cork brake pads have absorbed moisture and rusted to the brake disks.

I'd like to one day set it up with a hot-wire cutter for large form sculpting.
