theres a few kinds of anthros in my setting:
- theres the paradisians, anthro dragons who. basically the original dragons were made by gods and then some turned themselves into the first paradisians to escape something. i may have already made a post about this i dont remember
- theres a few that are just sorta regular aliens (ratfolk, theres some cephalopod-people etc)
- and the rest were originally humans (or dwarves etc) who heavily gene-modded themselves.
theres also werewolves that exist but are the product of early experiments with phenotypic alteration. basically, the idea was nanobots that would restructure the host's body at will. they went a bit haywire, now activate in response to certain external stimuli, the host loses themself a bit during the transformation, and it can spread to others via bodily fluids
