Took a lil' day trip down to Lakeland to visit Free Play Florida, a pinball / arcade / retrogaming expo that happens in the area every year. Been meaning to get out to this one for ages and finally had a weekend where nothing else was going on! Like it says on the label, everything was set to freeplay mode. Sadly a bunch of machines seemed to be out of order or malfunctioning, but otherwise everyone was very polite about taking turns and just having a good time.

Most exciting for me was the area of prewar tables though. Absolute analog beauties, every single one of them. Most were hands-off, but a couple you could actually play! The Daisy was probably my favorite. Just a big ol' roulette dish of a marble run.

Makes me want to take up woodworking. Someone has to be making recreations of these things, right?

i like that disassembled "Airway" display! neat to see how the "totalizer" operates under the playfield.
that separate little track to the top-right of the cabinet must be the tilt sensor without its cover/indicator - i think there'd be an extra ball in there, to trip the switch at the top when the table was moved.
