i'm really stunned at how natural the action is even in still shots! looks incredible!
yeah my friend was impressed. i'll try to cap a vid! need to figure out selfie recording...
Face tracking is such a game changer for expression in VR chat. I've seen how big a difference it makes in people who use it. I'll get it one day...hopefully.
hope you can get it! i didn't think i'd have it by this point; what changed was the calculus for getting a Quest Pro started making a lot more sense to me in terms of both market prices and the Q3 being less impressive/featureful in some areas than i'd hoped.
even so the Pro is a very specialist headset that has a lot of minuses to be ready for, fragility of the face tracking sensors being one biggie. sweat on the wrong place even a little and the sensors are known to just off themselves. reading r/questpro helps appraise one of its quirks.
i hope FT and ET (extraterrestrials) appear in more appealing, mass-market-friendly headsets as soon as possible.
I'm both really curious about whatever thing valve hypothetically might drop, and also the open source eyetracking that nerds are working on right now. That's what I'll look into after body tracking though, I think.
yeah i'm also curious about Valve's next thing. please deliver something good to push the VR envelope again, ya weirdos.
however, i got antsy and really wanted an upgrade now. happy with it so far...
VR chat always looks so cool. One day I'll get a headset and just... idk lurk in there or something.
it's very cool imo.
while i hope you get VR, did you know you don't need it to play VRChat? it has a 2D desktop mode for mouse and keyboard.
