i've been trying to find cool uses of the 3d exports of flames. still havent gotten what im looking for but that's how i made all the base shapes in https://cohost.org/sudocurse/post/271519-i-ve-started-playing
ooooooo i havent thought of that, i assume you want them less voxelized/more smooth objects? gonna do some testing with this when i get back to it. thank you again for the kind words

so in the video i'm making flames, taking point field exports of fx variations and then instancing in touchdesigner. i dont remember off the top of my head why mesh generation didnt work out for me. i would love to figure out how to bring an entire flame object set like this into touchdesigner where i can animate it and composite other things on top. but that makes me think i'll need to rethink how i'm exporting, if its even possible-- that was my original goal and i just made the video above off the pointfields because i got frustrated trying to figure this out lmao
i am enjoying the understated melancholy of these pieces. the flower is quite beautiful
