So I played the rest of the Alan Wake 2: Night Springs DLC. It's good! It's very slight. It feels like a little shot glass of Remedy weirdness, mainly; it's kind of a snack to tide you over for the presumably main-eventy 'Lake House' DLC. Not for anyone who's not already an Alan Wake 2 sicko but I had a big grin on my face throughout all of it.
