I have lifted a coyote but it was inside a container, so it doesn't really count as a proper hoist
however, let me tell you about a different coyote. I saw a coyote my very first day at wildlife rescue as a volunteer. I was cleaning some outdoor cages by myself, and a coyote was on its own in a nearby cage, watching me.
I wasn't to interact with the coyote, but at some point, I stopped my work and turned to look at it.
the coyote leapt straight up into the air: directly up, like it was on a trampoline. it leapt its full body height straight up while looking straight at me. not a lunge or a pounce - it didn't hit the bars - just straight up. then it just kept looking at me as I got back to work. didn't make a single sound.
