If you've never heard of it, Gregory Horror Show is a multimedia project about a bunch of creepy weird little guys in a haunted hotel. There a few series of short animated movies, a PS2 game, and even a board game! The creator's running a new kickstarter for an English translation of a new game and to fund a new series of shorts, and I hope they make it.

Someone was kind enough to make a Tabletop Simulator mod of the board game and upload the rules, and in looking at it... Yeah I can see how this just vanished. You're running around the hotel, trying to dodge all the weird little guys... But the game only comes with Gregory. Half the rulebook is devoted to players adding new weird little guys to complicate the game... But the game comes with none of them and you were supposed to start ripping blind boxes for them because it was the 00s and everything had to be Collectible. And then the paper mat you had to fold and unfold probably didn't have too long a shelf life.

All that said... I'd like to see a modernization of the game. Give it an actual board, upgrade the player meeples to their own models, make sure the base game has some extra guests to add (Probably... Catherine, Judgement Boy, Hell Chef, and James) then sell the rest in extra expansions. Could even have larger expansions with new boards for the train and hospital for those seasons.

I guess if it really bothered me I've got a wet-erase mat and all the papercraft files are still online at the creator's website. Library will do color printing.
