summer

i saw a post somewhere that said 'the universe doesn't give a fuck about you' and i can't stop thinking about how wrong that is? like we're kind of the universe's magnum opus? life and the other complexities on our planet are so unbelievably improbable it feels like. not to give the universe a soul but we're like the stuff the universe has put all its love into and worked the hardest to produce like how is that not giving a fuck. i get what that post is saying i guess like yea our reality could just disappear instantly at any second or whatever maybe so. i'm not like a spiritual person but it just feels so wrong to say something like that IDK
