I think it depends a lot on how you want to do things - an album launch is easier to promote than a steady stream of songs and as a listener it's easier to appreciate an album where you hear all the songs at once so none of them are worn out before you heave heard the others, but I think I'm really unusual for being an album listener at all these days - it may not matter in the slightest to your regular audience.

I guess my thought is that if you have a goal for this, even if that goal is for a bunch of people to listen to it, then sit down and think through how you can use these releases to help get to that goal. There's not necessarily a wrong answer, but if you've considered your options and where you want to be going then you will at least know that you have figured out the options and actually chosen one.

You're very welcome. I've worked at consultancies in various industries and one thing they had in common was that most of the strategic stuff comes down to laying out the situation, being clear about your goals and then making a deliberate decision. There's no magic to it at all, but it can be useful for a lot of endeavours.
