when i was in high school i was nominated as "homecoming queen" "as a joke" and it was very confusing at the time but now i feel like it validates my identity a little

from what i gathered it was like 'how hilarious would it be if this was the person who won this' because i wasnt a very girly person so they were all in it behind my back but at the time i was like neat ppl think im with it!
