I have a larger post on FA which I've mirrored on my main account here, if you want to read that go here: (click me)

I'm told this tool hosted via Github by SpottedSqueak can help you save files quickly. Consider giving it a whirl at your own discretion (IDK if this is legit, but that's what's been passed around in my neck of the woods): (clickitie)

FA faces an uncertain financial future. As a peer put it in my discord space, "he was spending medication money on FA's bills". So, that's that comment.

Just offering the FA downloader I've been using for some time and is currently working: FurDown

It can scrape galleries into folders and save everything with HTML descriptions.

If all else fails, Furarchiver is also an option. The archive itself is on the TOR network, presumably to prevent attacks, but the site makes it useful to get what you need.

Well this seems like it'd be quite useful - doesn't mention if it can just download your entire favorites gallery tho, rather than just individual artist galleries...may be asking a bit much given the limitations of FA.

to give a little background, for those who might want it. He suffered from a Pulmonary problem/disease with (at least to us) unknown cause. For several months, the polyps that had developed in his lungs had been bursting, leading to secondary infections and illnesses, and slimming his recovery chances even further.

Take care of yourselves, and be proactive about your health. Eat well, Live well, and don't take your health lightly.

Folders by artist and that's about it. It's a ton of time to organize beyond that and way more time to save the text descriptions unless you use a site downloader with some seriously pricise settings. Do something though. No corner of the internet is forever.

There's an extension for firefox that can download the root image from even a thumbnail link on FA, DA, and a few other places.
