I came across a couple of videos of people fighting the bosses in Sonic Frontiers more in an act of performance than trying to beat them in the easiest or most fun was possible or such. Not performance as in how well they do but performance for an audience. The first is a series of videos by Emyxam that shows off every single possible interaction that they player can have with each boss.
And the second is Kyzerz, who over dozens of attempts recorded fights with each boss where the progression through the phases of the fight synced perfectly with the soundtrack versions of the bossfight themes.
The normal boss fights in this game are very, very big on sceptical, they want to look cool and make you feel cool playing them. I guess it’s kind of natural for people to come to that and try to treat it as a performance, to try to figure out what way to play this makes it as cool as possible? And here we have two different visions of that.
