You're almost certainly already aware of this, but this font uses Unicode codepoints for button glyphs:

I really do hope that the Unicode consortium are aware of projects like that and are considering button glyphs (or at the very least, interaction glyphs without specific button names) for some future revision of the standard...
yeah i love this. lets at least get some emojis showing a system agnostic face button diagram- four empty circles with one filled in at a time
