he caught the sword!!!! (he also caught the knife frisbees!!) another similarity between sonic & mgr that i like to bring up a lot is that they both have songs with lyrics that give insight to the characters that play during the game which is something people talk about sort of a lot for mgr but i've not seen people talk about it with sonic. but as soon as i saw/heard that in mgr i was like "oh this is like a shadow the hedgehog moment".
Oh I’ve seen people talk about that with Sonic. I also like to specifically think about how the themes have changed over time with It Doesn’t Matter talking about Sonic not caring about or needing anyone else and then Fist Bump from Forces entirely being about needing other people.
