Current status of the Digger prototype, as I've been calling it in files.
Enemy systems are pretty well functional, the kind of "gimmick" for them is they stick together into large clusters with different types contributing different effects to the mass.
The player has a decent array of weapons available and I have some more ideas to expand on that as well
There are a few different cell types that drop different kinds of ammo for the three weapons (primary, secondary, bomb/special) or health pickups
It's feeling pretty good! Sometimes I just open it up and play around for a while.
Always a good sign
I think, perhaps, it's time to start working on menus.
Technically speaking I don't really need a working menu for early testing, I could just spin up some simple tutorial messages and some waves of enemies to get some feedback.
