Working on a general-use "swipe" attack shader that i can slot different sprites into for various weapons and stuff. I'm not entirely happy with the speed that it appears and disappears, i may try to make that parameter customizable if i can manage it...
The sprite itself and the pattern of the fade will need a bit more work as well, but i think it fits pretty well into the simple art style i'm going for.
Given it's only intended to be seen for a fraction of a second it's probably fine, but the way the whole game slows down when it's your turn does mean i'll need to think at least a little about how it looks when not in motion.
